About Hayai.

Hayai (速い) means “fast” in Japanese. We named the studio after our only real promise.

Team.

A small senior team. No juniors, no agency layers, no padded headcount. The person you brief is the person doing the work.

How we work.

The four principles, restated as what a client experiences during a Sprint.

  1. Speed is a design constraint, not a corner cut.

5 production days from kickoff after assets and direction are signed off. The clock is named in the SOW, so it doesn’t slip because we forgot to start it.

  2. Pages are products, not deliverables.

The Sprint includes one revision round. Additional rounds are scoped and priced in the SOW, never improvised mid-project.

  3. Async beats meetings 9 times out of 10.

Email and shared docs are the default. We answer within 24 hours during the work week. During an active Sprint, you get a daily Loom — a short walkthrough of the work in progress — and a written end-of-day summary. The kickoff is an async Loom from the lead after signing: design direction, copy direction, your context dump. You respond async.

  4. Senior team, no juniors.

Same answer as Team above — the person you brief is the person doing the work. No handoffs to interns, no agency layers between you and the screen.
